Simple 5-Minute Everyday Makeup Routine
You do not need a full makeup bag or a long morning routine to look polished. With five well-chosen steps, you can create fresh, comfortable everyday makeup in about five minutes.

1. Prep with lightweight hydration
Start with moisturized skin and give your skincare a moment to settle. If you are heading outdoors, use sunscreen as the final skincare step. Well-prepped skin helps makeup blend more evenly and keeps it from looking dry.
2. Even out only where you need it
Use a tinted moisturizer, skin tint, or a small amount of foundation on the centre of the face and any areas with redness. Blend outward with clean fingers, a sponge, or a brush. Keeping the coverage light makes the routine faster and the finish more natural.
3. Add soft colour
Tap a cream blush onto the apples of your cheeks and blend it slightly upward. The same shade can often be dabbed onto the lips for a coordinated look. Choose a muted rose, peach, or berry tone that works with your natural colouring.
4. Define the eyes
Brush your brows into place, then apply one coat of mascara from the roots to the tips. For extra definition, use a soft brown pencil along the upper lash line and gently smudge it with your fingertip.
5. Finish with comfortable lips
Swipe on tinted balm, a satin lipstick, or a neutral gloss. Blot once if you prefer a softer stain-like finish.
Make it last
Press a little translucent powder only where you tend to shine, then mist lightly with setting spray if you use one. Keep a lip product and a small concealer in your bag for quick touch-ups.
The best five-minute routine is the one you can repeat consistently. Start with thin layers, use multi-purpose products, and let your skin still look like skin.
